Job Description:
CoSector - University of London are recruiting for a Marketing Executive Intern to work in the Marketing and Events Team, supporting the commercial activities of the business which includes Digital Services, Recruitment Services, Events and Housing. This is a 1 year internship.
Job Purpose:
This role will support strategic marketing activity across the full range of CoSector products and services. The post holder will contribute to the team’s objective to deliver integrated marketing campaigns in a varied role that will include managing the production and maintenance of all our marketing collateral, liaising with suppliers and assisting with events, an using our CRM system in compliance with GDPR and Data Protection regulations. Key to this role is great communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail as well as willingness to learn on the job. The role would suit a recent marketing graduate who wants to develop their practical skills in a busy and lively role.
Job Content:
With the Head of Marketing and Events and Marketing Executive, you will work closely to devise and implement campaign activity with clear outputs and measures. 

Manage day-to-day content and updates across CoSector and fair websites, intranet and social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Working with marketing colleagues, manage the production and delivery of CoSector's marketing materials, attend and organise networking events/conferences/graduate fairs to support the Sales and Senior Leadership Team.
Creating and proof-reading communications for colleagues across the team, ensuring consistency of messaging, paying close attention to grammar and spelling, adhering to CoSector's brand guidelines.
Working with in-house colleagues or external creative agencies to produce marketing materials such as PowerPoint presentations, posters, brochures, reports, flyers, whitepapers and exhibition stand material.
Monitor, analyse and report on the progress of customer and prospect engagement activities and campaign performance using Google Analytics and the CRM reporting function, in order to help generate new ideas and initiatives.
Any other duties consistent with the grade and scope of post. General administration such as raising PO's and arranging and attending meetings.



Ability to work in a team, executing online and offline marketing campaigns

Ability to work independently, managing your own workload following a brief from manager and colleagues

A keen self-starter with excellent time management skills and attention to detail

A great communicator with good verbal, written, email and telephone communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels

Friendly and outgoing, enjoys building new relationships and working with multiple internal and external stakeholders

Business acumen and commercial awareness



Outstanding Organisational and general administrative skills
Excellent IT skills, tech-savvy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and social media channel
Knowledge and experience of website content management systems and software
Knowledge and understanding of web analytics
Understanding of GDPR and the implications of new regulations
Knowledge of Adobe In Design creative suite including video editing

Knowledge of ConnectWise, Microsoft Teams, SalesForce and Hubspot

Knowledge of WordPress, Drupal



Degree in marketing and/or communications discipline (or equivalent)

Interviews will be taking place in July. Starting date will be Monday 5th August. 

Working hours - Full time hours. This a 1 year internship.

Pay rate - £495 per week
