We are currently recruiting for a Digital Learning Support Officer to work within one of our prestigious institutes based near Russell Square. This is a permanent position, starting ASAP.
Towork with customers to deliver Digital services that meets their expectationsand to identify areas of service improvement to meet evolving needs
To provide first and second line support
To work on specific customer related activities, coordinating the customer interaction
To assist with the maintenance and configuration of the Digital Services provided and investigate and document issues, solutions, and advice where appropriate
To develop excellent working relationships with existing and potential customers so as to proactively identify service-related issues and development needs and priorities.
To maintain records of interactions with customers and time spent on activities.
To monitor adherence to Service Levels, reporting exceptions.
To provide supporting documentation and training materials in the use of the Digital Services provided
To provide training/advice/consultancy in the Digital Services provided
To maintain an awareness of Digital Learning trends and pro-actively identify how the evolving technology can be utilised to improve the Digital Service offering.
To actively follow and promote the University of London policies, including the University's Dignity at Work and Equal Opportunities Policy and actively promote these wherever possible.
To maintain an awareness and observation of fire and health and safety regulations
Any other duties consistent with both the grade and scope of the postAny other duties reasonably required of the postholder by the reporting manager

There is a need for the ability to work around company business hourswhich may require either occasional or scheduled work outside normal officehours

Has experience of using Digital Learning Services
Has experience of Web Technologies
Has experienced in providing service support
Professional, enthusiastic and flexible in their approach to work.

Experience in providing Digital Learning Services support
Technical knowledge and skills
Good verbal and written communication
Ability to engage proactively with potential customers
Knowledge of Moodle
Knowledge of Web technologies
Knowledge of the LAMP environment
Knowledge of the Education sector
Education and Professional Qualifications
Qualification to degree level in Computer Science or related subject or with equivalent vocational experienceWorking hours - Full time - 5 days a week
Pay rate - £35,807 - £43,179 depending on experience
